Apart from a nice bunch of Pliocene and Pleistocene Mollusca, in Florida you can find a lot of Miocene shells as well.
We used the excellent descriptions and plates from Julia Gardner: "The molluscan fauna of the Alum Bluff Group of Florida", written between 1926 and 1950 (United States Government Printing Office).
A lot of species we got in 1995 and 1996 from Andy and Greta Murray, who helped us also with several nice localities.
